    From Blind Lemon Jefferson to T-Bone Walker and Charlie Christian, to Eric Johnson, Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, the Lone Star State has always been a hot bed of string-bending guitar wizards. Though he is far too self-effacing to ever put himself in such august company, John Inmon fits seamlessly into that six-string continuum. His peers know John as one of the finest guitarists in Austin, Texas (and, considering the competition, that is high praise indeed); his fans know him as the signature guitar style that has, at one time or another, propelled the music of Jimmy LaFave, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Townes van Zandt, Delbert McClinton, Marcia Ball, Omar and the Howlers, Eliza Gilkyson, just to name a few. He is also an award winning producer. “ I've been recording, one way or another, for decades and I know how to make records. I get a kick out of "painting soundscapes" and I like to share what I have learned about music production with new artists.”

       Now John embarks on a new journey as an artist in his own right, fronting his fellow band mates from the late Jimmy LaFave's Night Tribe – Bobby Kallus, Glenn Schuetz and David Webb.  To quote John: “When Jimmy left us, we, as a band, decided to do whatever we could to stay together and, in that way, keep Jimmy's musical spirit out there on the road.” If you've ever seen these guys play, you know that they can generate some real magic on stage.
